Course Recommendations for MSc Students

Make sure you are able to include the studies in your degree at your home university by checking which courses are included in your home university’s curriculum. For more information, please see the individual course pages and How the credits are registered?

Core Courses

We strongly recommend any student interested in focusing on microeconomic theory take the Research Master’s Track. At minimum, any student interested in specializing in microeconomic theory should take the Advanced Microeconomics sequence. As University of Helsinki general track MSc students cannot take Advanced Microeconomics, they should take Microeconomics 1 and 2 insted.
