Content

Opintojakson tavoitteena on esitellä Suomen talouden ja maailmantalouden kehitystä, nykytilaa, rakennetta, ajankohtaisia aiheita ja talouspoliittisia kysymyksiä. Käsiteltäviä aiheita ovat mm. suhdannevaihtelut, talouskasvu, rahapolitiikka, rahoitusmarkkinat, talouskriisit ja taloustilanne. Opintojakso koostuu eri teemoja käsittelevistä asiantuntijaluennoista.

Learning outcomes

Opintojakson sisällöt vaihtelevat vuosittain vierailevien asiantuntijoiden mukaan. Opintojakson yleisenä osaamistavoitteena on, että opintojakson suorittaneet opiskelijat ymmärtävät Suomen talouden ja maailmantalouden rakenteita, talousteorian peruskäsitteitä sekä talousjärjestelmän ja rahoitusmarkkinoiden toimintaa. Opintojaksolla opitaan käyttämään taloustiedettä keskeisten talouskysymysten analysoimiseen.
