Kurssi kattaa valikoiman keskeisiä yhteiskunnallisia haasteita, kuten taloudellisen eriarvoisuuden syyt ja seuraukset, ikääntyvän väestön, maahanmuuton, ilmastonmuutoksen ja kauppasotien talousvaikutukset sekä polarisaation poliittisen taloustieteen.
