Second Nordic Meeting in Urban Economics

The Second Nordic Meeting in Urban Economics will be held on September 8-9, 2025, in Helsinki, Finland. The purpose of this meeting is to foster exchange and collaboration between researchers in the Nordic countries working on topics related to urban economics. Both theoretical and empirical work are welcome. Preference will be given to researchers affiliated with Nordic institutions.

The meeting will be held on September 8 to 9, 2025. In addition to lunches, there will be a conference dinner on Monday 8. The organizers will cover accommodation (one night), the conference dinner, and food during the conference. Participants are asked to cover their own travel costs.

  • Papers (preferred) or extended abstracts should be submitted via this registration form by April 29.
  • The local organizers will evaluate all submitted papers and communicate acceptance decisions by May 16.
  • Presenters of accepted papers and other participants will need to register byMay 30.

We expect to accept around 15 papers.

This year’s meeting is organized by the Urban Economics research group at the Helsinki Graduate School of Economics.
